layers, layers, layers
So anyone that knows me would usually describe me as wearing everything but the kitchen sink, which is funny, but also very true! I rarely leave my house without a few layers on me, even if it's a 100 degrees outside. I know very strange, and I sort of can't relate to the whole body con trend personally, I feel naked unless I have a few things on that make me feel like I actually styled myself, I guess it's sort of a work complex I have but hey that's me. In the summer I like to layer light options like a button down dress worn open over another dress, or if it's really hot then I just layer the sh*t out of my necklaces in order to make me feel put together:) Now winter time is the EASIEST time to layer, and these days fashion has so many options. The last few years I have been obsessed with capes, and because of that I have acquired quite a nice collection of vintage capes. Capes are genious, they are easy, they are comfortable, and they make you look super put together in a hot second. They are so popular now and you can find all the high end designers doing versions but also affordable options at Zara, H&M, and Forever 21 just to name a few (yes I am almost 40 and have 2 kids, and even I still shop at Forever 21, I mean the names says it all right, and age is just a number after all:))
