So even though I am addicted to color as much as I am addicted to coffee I 100% still love love love an all black look!  My trick to making black stand out is to mix and match textures like crazy and layer on tons of jewelry in order to make myself stand out from the sometimes sea of black outfit crowds.  I love mixing lace, leather, cotton, knit all in one outfit because it really does make a punch when layered on top of each other and creates a level of interest as opposed to wearing all black jersey, not my thing:)  Here are some of my recent all black look creations!!

This is my fashion week outfit for the Alice + Olivia show which I help style.  I am wearing all Alice and Olivia and I took a leather top with attached pleated skirt dress and wore it over black leather bell bottoms.  I tucked the slip into my pants to create a sheer effect on the bottom and then I tied a huge knot on the side of the dress in order to show the wide leg pant I was wearing underneath.  Then I took my side ponytail and gave it some jazz by adding mini rope braids.  Add ons include a feather necklace, vintage belt, fur phone case holder, and red sequin Valentino heels to add a touch of color:)

I absolutely love these bell bottoms from Zara, so comfy and also cool looking.  I added a lace Free People tank under a black sweater and put this awesome French Connection faux leather jacket with fur vest attached on top, then layered my jew…

This is one way I do dressy black.  I love this sequin mermaid skirt I got from H&M, it looks super expensive and I think I paid like $30 for it!!!  Then I added a vintage sequin top, a crazy Valentino huge necklace, fur crossbody bag, my red sequin Valentino shoes and threw my hair up in this crazy bun.  I got one of those donut hair thingies at H&M and googled how to use it and voila instant glam hair that looks like you went to the salon and sat all day for. love that thing!!!
